Greetings to You in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ!
The Parishioners of the RCCG Salvation Center of Austin, Texas are currently engaged in a major fundraising campaign until the end of the year. We are grateful to God who has given us Jesus Christ as the Cornerstone of our faith, and also five strong pillars to build our ministry on.
It is our sincere desire to go forth in faith and fulfill our commission as mandated in the Holy Scriptures of Matthew 28:19-20, and to enlarge the Kingdom of God.
Members of RCCG-Salvation Center Austin seek to be a multicultural, multigenerational congregation. We believe that it is our destiny and responsibility to influence and make a positive and lasting impact on our community for Jesus Christ. We are also thrilled and excited that God is enlarging our territories. However, our present leased facility is inadequate and unable to fully accommodate us and our future growth. Since we do not have our own building, designed to sufficiently meet our current needs and outreach programs, we are unable to provide many other desired programs that will bless and serve our community.
In order to meet the challenge of our local church mission, and to reach out and positively impact our local community, we are earnestly in need of your prayers and generous financial support to help us raise our immediate goal of two million dollars on or before December 31, 2009. With God and your generous support, “All Things Are Possible”. All of the funds received through this campaign effort will be dedicated to the sole purpose of land preparation and to finance the initial phase of building a new sanctuary with classrooms and a multi-purpose facility with administrative offices.
As you know, the Church is not a building made of bricks and mortar. The Church is a living organism with people who have diverse gifts, abilities, and perspectives. The Church is the Body of Christ united and joined together by faith in God, and who have been called together to share and serve the same Lord until he returns to redeems us.
Our heart-felt desire is to build people of Purpose, Prayer, Power, Praise and Prosperity. This desire is being fulfilled by preaching and teaching the reality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a simple, and yet practical way, so that the principles in the Word of God can be richly applied and the abundant living that Christ promised can become a reality in the lives of God’s people.
We not only desire to build a monument of stone. Together with your help and faith in God, We will build a place of worship and warmth and a place where we can welcome people into the family of God. We will provide them a place of worship, ascribing awe and wonder to our God. We will have a place where people can experience the presence of God so that their hearts, minds and lives will be transformed by the power of God. We will build a place to help us reach out to people who do not know the love of God, and to provide a place from which people can be sent to reach the local community, marketplaces and the nations of the world. Amen!!!
